Three Ways You Can Volunteer
Adult Participants – Schools need adult support to make their Challenge Day events successful. Adult volunteers arrive 30 minutes early for a brief orientation and stay an additional 30 minutes to join the debrief with faculty and staff. Adults participate fully in the 5.5 hour program and are assigned to support a small break-out group of 4-5 students during Challenge Day in schools across the United States. For a list of upcoming events, please click here.
Do you have a special skill or gift you would like to share with us? We are always looking for volunteers to support with fundraising, marketing, website design social media and thanking our donors. If you would like to help, please complete our form above.
Are you willing to commit time and energy to help Challenge Day grow? Do you possess the ability to promote and be a public spokesperson for Challenge Day, solicit funds from personal and professional contacts, and help cultivate and recruit board members. Do you possess a commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; honesty, sensitivity, and acceptance of differing views; a friendly, responsive, and patient approach; community-building skills; personal integrity; and a sense of humor. For more information about joining the Challenge Day Board, please call our office at (925) 957-0234.
